Paul Webb

Paul Webb has been working in the IT industry since 1984. Having studied for his degree at Greenwich University he spent the first 6 years of his career working at the university setting up the first PC LANs and teaching IT to the Business school. Heavily involved in computer systems on-board helicopters during the 90’s, he was part of the team that developed and introduced the HUMS system used in most of the large helicopter transportation companies, primarily in the oil industries found around the world. In the last 15 years, he has moved into a more advisory role for businesses, covering system setups as well as system security. Today he will be talking primarily about how companies should be approaching system security and how to protect the most valuable IT commodity that they have, their data.
