At Buckworths we work with start-ups from pre-incorporation through to exit. Our sweet spot is start-ups at pre-seed to Series A and the vast majority of our clients fall within this range. 

70% of our clients are high growth technology start-ups of which approximately half of those are fin-techs. We are known in the market for our expertise in the tech space. A significant part of our practice is advising founders and start-ups on venture capital work / investment rounds including SEIS and EIS compliance. Almost exclusively we work with start-ups/founders not investors because this work is more challenging and is where we can add the most value. 

We only work with start-ups and high growth businesses. This means that we have our finger on the pulse of the start-up ecosystem and are uniquely positioned to save our clients time, advise them on market standard, point them to investors active in the market and ensure that they get the best advice at the right time.
We have formal commercial relationships with University College, London and London South Bank University pursuant to which we provide mentoring and structured training to their communities of entrepreneurs and investors. We also have close relationships with a number of start-up networking groups.

We have a range of event partners including Level 39, Enterprise Nation, The Startup Network Europe, Unlockd and UCL. 

Michael Buckworth, the founder of Buckworth, published an Amazon best-selling book providing guidance to entrepreneurs on setting up a start-up and raising investment which has sold several thousand copies.
