A Chartered Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney and Design Attorney, Alistair's practice involves engineering, materials science and physics-based technologies and he acts for a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from large multinational companies to SMEs and individuals. Alistair has wide experience in filing and prosecuting design applications in the UK and EU and coordinating prosecution of design applications in other territories worldwide. Alistair also files and prosecutes patent applications worldwide for these clients, advises through infringement and validity opinions and freedom to operate opinions, and also advises on IP strategy and product clearances.
