Angela Joyce
Angela has worked in further education for more than 20 years. In 2010, she became the youngest woman to be a college CEO in the UK – a record she still holds today. Angela has led colleges in different parts of the country, including Warwickshire College Group, where she supported mergers, helped secure a Queen’s Anniversary Prize, and achieved degree awarding powers so students could study university-level courses. Angela has held national Board roles with Landex, WorldSkills, and the Quality Assurance Agency. She has also worked with the NHS, the CBI, and the Midlands Engine, and supported young people through the Careers & Enterprise Company.She has advised the Government on education policy, spoken at national events, and partnered with employers such as Anglian Water to set up the Greater Peterborough UTC.
Angela is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution for Further Education.
