Dr. Chandni Bhan is the Chief Risk Officer at Wise, the leading global fintech specializing in cross-border payments. With over 16 years of experience spanning both traditional finance and innovative fintech, she brings a unique perspective on the evolving risk landscape that modern businesses face.

Prior to joining Wise, Dr. Bhan spent more than a decade at Morgan Stanley, where she held leadership roles including Global Head of Quantitative Research and Model Risk for MSIM, and EMEA Head of Cross Risk Stress Testing Methodology for the Investment Bank. Her extensive experience across both buy-side and sell-side provides her with comprehensive insights into systemic and operational risks across different business models.

Dr. Bhan holds a PhD in Statistics & Probability from Michigan State University and has been at the forefront of developing analytical risk frameworks that utilize AI and machine learning. She has built and led data-driven global risk functions, positioning her to share valuable insights on the changing risk landscape that
businesses face in our interconnected world.
