A passionate, engaging First Aid trainer with 20 years’ experience as workplace First Aider in a variety of settings, I am well placed to adapt training to suit your team. I refuse to accept the one-size-fits-all approach adopted by many and focus far more on the attitude and the reality. Of course, the foundation of my training is entirely compliant with HSE guidance, but it’s important to me to give my learners a wider understanding and to make this subject relatable. Nothing can prepare the average person for the brain-melting reality of being faced with a sudden medical emergency - I give my learners a choreographed, well designed course with a focus on ensuring the right information is retrievable even when their mind is busy falling out of their ears.
