Jim Holland is a Royal Navy veteran turned social entrepreneur, dedicated to making social and environmental impact simple and affordable. After a successful corporate career with Vodafone, Sky, and Stansted Airport, Jim co-founded Carma, a social enterprise that plants trees across the UK and globally while creating positive pathways to employment for veterans through nature-based therapy.

His journey was shaped by personal experiences of transitioning from military to civilian life, driving his commitment to supporting veterans with meaningful work. Under Jim’s leadership, Carma has partnered with businesses like GoCardless, Starbucks, and CIVICA to plant thousands of trees, enriching biodiversity and improving mental health outcomes for service leavers.

Jim is a Soldiering On Awards winner, recognised for his work in social impact and sustainability. He is passionate about showing that collective, affordable action can create lasting change for people, businesses, and the planet
