Freelance Mum is a UK-wide community supporting mums in business through connection, collaboration and flexibility. Founded in 2013 by broadcaster, voiceover artist and mum of two, Faye Dicker, it was born from her own experience of juggling self-employment with family life and the belief that work should fit around family, not the other way around.

What started as one small community has grown into a nationwide network, supporting women through local netwalks, online coffee mornings, virtual co-working, practical business events and a thriving online community.

At its heart, Freelance Mum exists to reduce isolation, build confidence and create opportunities without pressure, pitching or performative networking. It is a place where women can grow sustainable businesses, build meaningful relationships and be supported by people who genuinely understand the realities of balancing business and motherhood.

Designed by mums, for mums, Freelance Mum is more than a networking organisation. It's a community in the truest sense of the word.
