SiSTEM UK is an award-winning media and community platform redefining how women in STEM are seen, supported, and celebrated. With a particular focus on supporting Black women and women from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, SiSTEM UK is committed to creating greater access, representation, and opportunity across the STEM landscape.

Founded in 2022 by sisters Dr Abigail Otchere and Donna Otchere, SiSTEM UK bridges the worlds of STEM, culture, and community through impactful events, storytelling, strategic partnerships, and educational programmes. The platform inspires the next generation while championing and celebrating the women already shaping the sector.

Through collaborations with universities, industry leaders, charities, and national organisations, SiSTEM UK creates inclusive spaces where women in STEM can connect, access support, share their experiences, and thrive. By challenging traditional narratives around STEM, SiSTEM UK is building one of the UK’s leading platforms for representation, community, and opportunity.
