Employees quit for a number of reasons, the most common being dissatisfaction with management, inadequate opportunity for growth, stress due to conflict or an unhealthy company culture. To avoid a lot of turn-over, it is vital to hire the candidates that fit your culture, as well as the job description, and to onboard them with care. This alone will save the company a lot of time and money down the road. An employee who feels good about the work place will not quit, even if a higher paying job is offered to them. I will show data to back up this claim and give easy to implement examples on how to achieve this, for small, medium and large organizations.
