Able Futures: Workplace Mental Health Support

Able Futures delivers the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service, funded by the Department for Work and Pensions. As a delivery partner, Case-UK supports employees who are experiencing difficulties that may affect their ability to stay in work.

What it offers
• Up to nine months of one-to-one support from a mental health coach
• No cost to the individual or their employer
• Confidential: employers don’t need to know the service is being used
• No diagnosis needed to ask about support

How it helps
Participants work at their own pace to understand their wellbeing, develop coping strategies, and build confidence in managing pressures such as stress, anxiety, low mood, sleep difficulties and returning to work after illness. If the individual wants it, we can help create a conversation between them, their employer and their coach.

Our impact
Under the current contract, 8,715 people have received support through Able Futures. Among those completing the programme, 100% recorded an improvement in mental wellbeing scores (WEMWBS), and 94% reported satisfaction with the service.

For employers: you don’t have to provide every answer. A clear route to specialist support can make a real difference to retention, attendance and confidence. Visit stand B310 to find out how to signpost the service to your teams.
