David is the Managing Director, Head of Client Coverage. David is a member of the Business Banking Leadership Team, responsible for client coverage. Prior to this David was the Global Head of Specialist Sales in Global Transaction Banking responsible for all Payments, Liquidity, FX, Merchant Acquiring, Payment Gateway and Data Insight specialist sales activity for all segments at Barclays globally supporting the UK Corporate Bank and the Investment Bank. In addition to this role David is Executive Sponsor for Spectrum, Barclays LGBT+ network. David has 23 years of experience spanning commercial, international business development, change management and strategy including leadership roles at American Express and Bupa. David is an International Management and German graduate from the University of Bath.
