HAIFA HAKEEM

Haifa is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) trainee and General Practice Nurse in the United Kingdom with extensive experience in primary care, public health, and women's health. She is the founder and CEO of Rivers of Mercy UK, an international humanitarian charity dedicated to improving access to healthcare for vulnerable communities, particularly women and children in Palestine. Through her clinical expertise and humanitarian leadership, Haifa has led initiatives supporting maternal and newborn health, preventative healthcare, and healthcare access in conflict-affected settings. She is also a partner with Every Pregnancy, advocating for equitable maternal care and empowering women through collaborative global health initiatives. Passionate about combining evidence-based practice with compassionate leadership, Haifa regularly engages with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and charitable organisations to drive meaningful, sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery and maternal health outcomes.
