Michelle Lau is the Managing Director France at Alibaba.com, where she leads initiatives to help businesses of all sizes access global markets through Alibaba.com’s business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform — enabling them to source and sell internationally with greater efficiency.

Michelle joined Alibaba Group in 2016 as Senior Business Development Manager, before moving into the Senior Strategic Partnership team in 2020, where she oversaw key strategic accounts across a range of digital commerce solutions. From 2022 until the Group's restructuring in 2023, she served as Co-Managing Director of Alibaba Group France, before taking on her current role at Alibaba.com.

Prior to joining Alibaba, Michelle held senior leadership roles at Printemps, Figaret, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, gaining deep experience in retail, international trade, marketing and business development
