Marketing Executive

Job Type: Full time

We are looking for someone confident and enthusiastic, who is able to use their own initiative to join our marketing team to help promote the event across a variety of platforms and ensure the shows run successfully. This is a target based role and as such will require extra hours when targets are behind.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creating a marketing campaign for the show which ensures we hit the target number of registrations and attendees
  • Forming strong partnerships with relevant associations and magazines and liaising with these partners throughout the show cycle
  • Identifying and booking keynote speakers for the events
  • Creating marketing emails, sales emails and monthly newsletters
  • Keeping the websites up to date with show features, speakers, articles, partners etc.
  • Creating media packs and graphics on Canva
  • Using Excel to sort visitor and sales databases and creating reports from this
  • Constantly thinking of new ideas on how to market the event and reach new audiences

Salary: £25,000

Experience needed:

  • Previous experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise own workload
  • Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with show partners and speakers via the phone
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Uses own and initiative and thinks outside the box
  • Willing to put in extra effort and hours when necessary to ensure a successful event


This is an in-office only role and you will be joining our central Bristol office to work on our portfolio of trade exhibitions in London, LA and Miami.

Sponsorship & Sales Executive

Job Type: Full time

We are a fast growing company and offer rapid routes to progression and high financial incentives. You will be responsible for generating new business through stand sales and sponsorship opportunities on our portfolio of business events.

We are looking for ambitious, career driven Sales Executives to join our business with the desire to progress and become an integral member of Business Show Media. If you are career hungry, financially motivated and looking to achieve big things, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively utilising multiple methods to identify a strong pipeline of new business
  • Bringing in revenue through selling exhibition stand space & sponsorship opportunities
  • Generating interest through engaging social media content
  • Generating business via cold calling, networking and social selling
  • Working with clients to package their exact exhibition requirements

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (+ commision)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Resilient
  • Previous Sales Experience ( preferred but not essential)
